Understanding your signature request

Why you may have been asked to sign a document.

Updated this week

What this request is about

Someone used Telecom.live™ to place an order for business internet, phone, or related services. As part of that order, they named you as the person responsible for signing the document.

Telecom.live™ is simply the platform delivering the document on their behalf.

Before you view the document

For security, when you click the email link you’ll first see a screen asking you to enter a 4-digit code. This code is sent to your email. Entering it confirms you’re the right person before the document is shown.

Why you were chosen

The person who placed the order may not have been the right person to sign. They could have been:

  • An employee gathering quotes.

  • A vendor or consultant helping the business.

  • A friend or family member assisting with setup.

In those cases, they designated you as the authorized signer for the business.

What you should do

  1. Enter the 4-digit code from your email to access the document.

  2. Review the document carefully.

  3. If you are the correct person and everything looks right, sign where indicated.

  4. You don’t need a Telecom.live™ account to sign. Once completed, a copy will be sent to you automatically.

If you weren’t expecting this

  • Do not sign until you confirm with the requester.

  • If this was sent to you in error, simply decline the request.

  • If anything looks suspicious, contact Telecom.live™ support for help.
